Focus Travel Partnership is happy to announce newly expanded leadership roles, in a move that reinforces the organisation’s commitment to growth, innovation, deeper collaboration with its Suppliers, and long-term value for its TMC Partners.
Dani Ives has been elevated to Head of Commercial, where she will lead on commercial strategy and supplier relations, and build on the partnership’s long established market-leading air programme and value propositions for Focus TMCs and all stakeholders. Joanne Emerson becomes Head of Marketing & Events, taking the reins of the brand positioning, creative strategy and engagement, and building on the curation and delivery of high-impact business travel industry event experiences that Focus is well recognised for. And Tony Edge steps into the role of Head of Product & Technology, leading efforts to deliver smarter, tech-driven innovation tailored to the individual needs of SME TMCs along with expanding the consultancy offering. His role reflects the Focus commitment to driving progress and value.
This enhanced structure recognises the proven leadership that the consortium has in place and is designed to develop the long-term resilience of the Partnership, ensuring it stays agile, partner-driven, championing commercial strength and innovation, with the people and services to help TMCs thrive. It comes on the back of Focus’s highly accredited Champs conference, now in its 20th year, which has laid strong foundations across the frontline business travel community and receives outstanding engagement results.
Paul Spencer, who joined the partnership as MD in April commented: “This change reflects the talent, hard work and sustained achievements within our team, and our commitment to future-proofing Focus Travel Partnership. This next chapter will see Dani, Tony & Jo lead in key areas directly benefiting the heart of our business travel community – our TMC Partners. Empowering and supporting our SME TMCs at every level is at the centre of all we do.”
