Focus Travel Partnership announces agreement with Jyrney
Focus Travel Partnership has added a significant ground mobility element to its ecosystem of technology solutions after signing an agreement with transformative ground transport tech provider Jyrney, creating a strategic partnership for the benefit of Focus TMC Partners.
The move is the first initiative from Focus Travel’s Innovation Group, which was recently established (in September 2023) to drive delivery of business solutions that support the future needs of the consortium’s TMC Partners. This strategy includes working with relevant cutting-edge providers to fill the gaps in TMC Partners’ existing tech stacks and operational processes.
Jyrney is an innovative solution for TMCs, businesses and travellers seeking seamless ground transport options. The proprietary platform consolidates the traditionally fragmented booking and management of multi-modal ground transport options, including taxi, ride-hail and chauffeur within a single solution. Jyrney works with travel management companies, online booking tools and GDSs through white label solutions and APIs, as well as connecting suppliers with corporate customers.
Preferred Technology Supplier
The agreement sees Jyrney become a Focus preferred technology supplier, meaning Focus TMC Partners can now opt to integrate Jyrney’s platform easily and quickly via API within their own technology stacks. In addition to providing access to a range of transportation choices, Jyrney’s platform also manages the ground element of the trip. If there are any unexpected taxi delays, Jyrney’s AI software immediately steps in to ensure the passenger arrives at their destination on time by reallocating the booking to the closest available taxi or ride-hail company.
